CISI - Introduction to Securities and Investment
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment was founded in 1992 by London Stock Exchange practitioners. The purpose of this course is to develop essential basic knowledge required for professionals working with securities and investments. The course focuses on international markets and provides a global overview of key financial principles and products including assets and markets, equities, bonds, derivatives, investment funds, retirement planning, loans, mortgages, and life insurance.
After the completion of the course, course participants will sit a comprehensive examination, which, upon successful completion, will lead to the CISI certificate and student membership.
Assessments
- International Introduction to Securities and Investment is examined via computer-based testing and exams take place throughout the year.
- The exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions and lasts 1 hour.
